30 seconds

At least once a week, every Tuesday, or even everyday, I am going to submit a poem I have created in 30 seconds.

Yes.

A poem that took me 30 seconds or less.

I shall pull a list of themes or prompts to inspire these small 30 second bursts but here is one for today. Enjoy:

I breathe

There is no sun
Only rain
The warmth is gone
The cold, it bites
Yet still I breathe.
Everybody is gone.
I am alone.
My heart quivers
   shakes
   whimpers
   stutters.
    And stops.
Yet still I breathe.
The darkness comes
The light goes
Sounds stop
There is nothing
Yet still,
   I breathe.

Any comments much loved.

Happy Writing.
